"Hi Maria, Just confirming that you received my enrolment form and waitlist? I just wanted to reiterate how impressed I was of your centre, quality and welcoming private centres as they are often hard to come by. I've definitely seen a few in the area and nothing satisfied me. The relationships displayed in the nursery were reassuring, it was lovely to see the staff down on the floor at the children's level. The preschool room staff were all engaged in a group activity, it was very clear the children were happy to be there! In having said that I hope when the time comes there is a position for my son. Thanks again Rebecca" Bec March 2016

When looking for care for my 1 and 3.5year olds I was disappointed in many centres mainly because of the amounts of children in one room to educators. The Koala room at kids@play that my son is in has 8 children and 3 carers at all times. In my daughters room there are 20 children and 5 carers.Quality care for my money and for my children. When I questioned fees I was told it was due to the higher level of educators to children. Happy to pay for that! Vanessa

I looked at quite a few and even though travel did not bother me in the slightest I ended up settling with a centre in Five Dock (they have one in Croydon Park too). I loved the feel of this centre and seen the interactions between the staff and the children. It was clean, professional and I connected with them and so did my daughter. The next question was "bond" and "fees". Centres are requiring a 4 week bond for each child (pretty normal). This can be so hard especially with mortgages, rent etc etc. not to mention Childcare fees on its own. They mentioned they have a reward system that if a client refers another family and they enrol, the referring person gets free care equivalent to the days of the new referral. For example, if you refer me and I want 3 days, you get 3 days for free. This made me think they actually care about family circumstances and personal situation. I even asked if I could pay bond in instalments such as a payment plan. Under the current economic strains in a normal household, I found that this could help and that the centre actually thinks of the normal family household expenditure. This helps us out especially as our little family is expanding. So relieved..Suz

Hi Maria and Frances, I just want to thank you for creating such a wonderful, safe and fun environment at Kids @ play Croydon. As well as giving you positive feedback about your staff. The moment I first called Kids @ play to find out some information about your service I was greeted by Adriana who was welcoming, inviting us to drop in, meet her and have a tour. We did this last week. The moment we walked in I had a sense of calm, the staff were smiling, the children we giggling and the environment was welcoming, clean and safe. Adriana again made us feel welcome and was extremely professional with explaining the service you offer, asking relevant questions about my children and engaging with them. From what I saw, Adriana's professionalism and observing all staff members I knew that Kids @ play was the right centre for my children. Alexandra and Joshua had their first day today and I can confidently say that they had a ball. Due to the wonderful educators my children were able to feel safe enough to cope emotionally today (myself not so much). How thorough the staff were about questions they asked me and the interaction I observed between them and my children I felt fine to leave them - something I was very anxious about. The reports I was given when I collected them was also very reassuring. As soon as we got home Alex asked "school, more"? So thankyou for providing such a wonderful centre.Melinda

Words can not express the thanks we have for each and every Kids@Play childhood educator. They have been so helpful from the day I walked in. To recognizing and assisting with my son's anxiety and sensory difficulties to keeping me informed of his progress. I am grateful for the loving care and guidance he receives. It is through the structure, guidance and well planned activities that I believe my son has overcome some of his social and sensory issues. The educators are full of knowledge and always available for a chat. My son has learned so much and loves to share with me the great activities that go on each day at 'Little school' Hall FamilyLaura Hall
